“Love and Mercy: Faustina” is one of my all-time docudrama films. The acting is stellar, portraying the life story of Saint Faustina. Filmmakers base the storyline on her diary Divine Mercy in My Soul Diary by Saint Maria Faustina Kowalska.
The film chronicles the painting of the Divine Mercy image. Portrayals of Fr. Michal Sopoćko and Pope John Paul II are in the film.
There are not only serious representations of the various spiritual battles Saint Faustina fought, there is much humor as well.
“Love and Mercy: Faustina” also contains documentary elements.
The view leaves the film with a full heart. What a Blessing to have access to a film about Saint Faustina, Apostle and Secretary of Jesus’ Mercy.
The film is avaiable via download or DVD.
If you drive long commutes, enjoy listening listen to podcasts while doing chores at home, or are an auditory learner, AUDIO BOOK, DIARY OF ST. MARIA FAUSTINA KOWALSKA: DIVINE MERCY IN MY SOUL is well worth your investment.
The audio book is narrated by a woman of Polish decent. Ive been listening to this audio recording for over three years and each time I hear a passage there is a new insight. Moreover, I feel like Saint Faustina is talking to me the narration is so rich in authenticity.
